please only answer if pretty sure. the dealers tell me 2009 at earliest, but i dont believe them. concept car versions have been shown in motoring media for well over a year, and i understand the actual rel road going version was on show at New York motor show earlier this year, i have seen pictures of both an orange and black 2 tone concept and the real thing in silver on Top Gear tv. i understand its rear wheel drive and the top 2 engine derivatives are a turbo and also a v8 in lieu of my present v6 and that 300bhp! is being talked about!!!!!! bring it on! but when, i dont want to buy a new series3 in the new year only to be superceded by the replacement! that would appear in the dictionary as "depreciation" !!!

The car you speak of is honestly not due to hit showrooms until 2009, it says that on the Hyundai website listed below. The Concept Genesis Sedan will arrive prior to the Genesis coupe (name to change) in mid-2008. No question this car is super hot looking and will be in high demand upon release. With RWD, 20 inch wheels, Brembo brakes and 300HP V6 expect the car to price in the $30K range. This is the same V6 currently used by Hyundai only tuned for performance as the 3.8L has been refined. I'm sure Nissan will have the 370Z out and of course the new Chevy Camero will also be out around the same time. Now if Mazda would only put a real engine in the RX-8...

I know for a fact the basic 2.0, and 3.0 V6 model will be available end of 2008 (November/December) which is when the orders are being taken for. If you are lucky it will be on your drive next christmas, but the top whack V8 will not be available until mid-late 2009. The V8 will also be sold in europe in limited numbers because of EC Regulations on emmissions. These will probably go to enthusiasts, and at £30k is a bargain. (350Z/370Z, RX-8, New Skyline (GT-R) will be £40k Plus.)
