We did it today and the storage under the bed is fantastic. But the cinder blocks look pretty ugly and I am afraid we will bump against them and hurt our feet. Do you have any good, easy, and cheap ideas how to make it look prettier?

You could purchase some 1/4" thick foam and glue it to the blocks, then cover the foam with some fabric. You can buy both items at Walmart very inexpensively.

Yes,they sell bed raisers at HomeDepot and at Lowes. They are little white cones that raise your bed 4 1/2 inches off the floor they fit under the bed frame legs they cost $14.00.I have them and there great I have a queen bed so I bought a king size bed skirt to hide them, they do not stick out you could just see them!

Trade your bed frame and box spring for a platform bed with storage drawers underneath. These are the greatest beds ever - I have one and I love it. Lots of storage and you never have to clean under the bed.

Then add a pretty bedskirt.
