A girl I really like have been talking over the phone and internet for a while, and I am very confused about her status when it comes to a bf. I don't want to ask directly, so would this be an appropriate thing to say?:

"Not to change the topic again, but I noticed on your online profile that you are listed as "In a Relationship". If you don't mind me asking, who is the lucky guy?"

Is the term "lucky guy" too cheezy or is that OK to use?

P.S. She's 16

It appears as if people want to know, and I'm 15.

I see some people think I am a creep, but no I am not. This would be my first relationship and I am a complete novice at this "game". I am also working on a PhD level scientific research project, and my writing and speaking style has been influenced, therefore creating a warped perception of what is normal in the rest of the world.

Just ask her if she has a boyfriend.

Maybe a little cheesy. I'd just ask directly. The question is fine without the "lucky guy" part.

Well it's a bit cheezy how about saying
"hey you're profile says that you'er dating some one who is it?"

If you don't mind making it obvious that you like her, than that's a perfectly fine thing to say.

Sounds a little stuffy and formal - just say - so are you seeing anyone?
