The idea of Jesus being God and born of a virgin is only found in Matthew and Luke if I am not mistaken. It seems odd that Paul would not have included this highly important doctrine into his writings. Why do you think this is??

Nadie, other issues? I am sorry but you make this religion sound foolish. This issue is so important its in the apostles creed and anyone who does not believe it is considered by orthodox Christians to be in a cult.

The Gospels were not written to answer every single issue by each of the 40 writers of the scripture.
The virgin birth is also mentioned in the Old Testament, but not by all the writers.
There is more than sufficient evidence in scripture on this issue to understand and to believe if you care to
The bible has some 300 references of the coming of Jesus the Christ, and he fulfilled most of the prophecies that pertained to the Messiah. Some are yet future.
To not believe after all the evidences given is a choice one makes. Think it over again, after all how much evidence is there that you were born,really.......

In the beginning was the Word & the Word was with God & the Word was God. John 1:1. The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Mark 1:1 I believe that these 2 scriptures prove you wrong as far as His divinity is concerned. Jesus told Thomas you believe because you see, but blessed are those that have not seen yet believe, you are a Thomas. The bible says without faith no man can please God.

Why does it seem odd, Jesus Christ is our Saviour, his mother was human and a sinner, Jesus was perfect and had no Sin, We don't pray to Paul or John or Mark, and we certainly don't pray to mary she was like the rest of us, human, Only Jesus Christ can forgive sins, and that is what the Bible is all about. The Bible tells us how to get saved and be the kind of Christian we are supposed to be, thats all that matters. Nobody else can do you any good.

Because that, along with most other things, were fabricated and attributed to him long after he would have been dead.
The "Powers that be" of the Christianity movement obviously thought this would be a pretty effective "campaign" move for their fairly young religion. They were right. People still "buy it" to this very day.

Or, for that matter-
why didn't Jesus write his own book?
and why was his following so small?
and why wasn't anything written down about him until pretty much anybody who could remember anything about him was dead or long gone.
the history of religion is fascinating and clearly points to the whole thing being made up.
