Of course not.

But, "sticking his nose in it" is an archane and useless "training" method. Only people who have done no doggie training research use this tactic.

No.
But putting your dog's nose in his own poo accomplishes only one thing--it makes him resent you.
Put puppy pads where he poos. Then, each time he uses the pad, move it closer to the door...a little...then, eventually, out the door. He'll then go to the door when he wants to poo.
Do not clean with ammonia.
Do clean up his accidents with bleach or vinegar.

Don't know, but rubbing your dogs nose in his stool does no good. Proper training by a clam no yelling, non abusive person always works.

That method of training is not only an old wives tale, it is cruel and ineffective. If you do not use that type of barbarian training then it doesn't matter! Not to mention your dog could acquire a respiratory and/or bacterial infection from it!!!!!

there is absolutely no need to put a dog's nose in his own poop. putting him near the mess and saying no firmly is sufficient. then put him outside. dogs are not morons and violence is not necessary even they were.

dogs want nothing more than to please us, so if they go indoors it's usually because you don't let out often enough.
