do guys give girls flowers any more on first dates or has that become over rated?

No, not saying no one does it at all anymore, but 99% of guys dont. Flowers sometimes can symbol love, and on the first date, you havnt reached that stage of love yet. Back then guys may have gave flowers on a first date because they fell inlove with the girl before going on the first date. Now, first dates are really used to get to know eachother.

I do, but I like to keep the flower arrangements simple. Since it is a first date, I don't give roses yet. I save the roses when we have dated awhile and we have been intimate. Besides, have you seen the prices of flowers?

that is totally up to the man but from my standpoint I still give flowers on a first date and continue to until the day I die give, sometimes for special occasions other times just because I want to Guys growning up now-a-days may consider it to famine but i know it is one thing that a gal likes.

honey, that has sorta stopped, but guys don't realize that there are still girls that like those sort of things. But it could be overrated for some. But I like them.

they don't, but i think it's really sweet and different because most guys don't do that. try just giving a single rose. that's sweet and she'll appreciate you acting like a gentleman

Some do, but I didn't. She's marrying me anyway, so I guess it didn't matter to her. I think it's overrated and outdated.
