Does fatty, salty, and greasy foods really cause acne? Because I've had people tell me no food has been proven to cause acne and I've had people tell me it does. So which one is right?

It isn't the food. It is the hormones in your body. Though eating well helps your skin to heal better.

It does not! It is caused by the abnormal flaking of cells inside the hair follicle which then leads to the formation of a plug. The plug can enlarge and even rupture the hair follicle. A ruptured hair follicle spills its contents of oil and debris into the skin where it leads to swelling and causes redness. The truth is that foods do not cause acne. Another well known myth is that sun bathing can clear up acne. Although the sun can dry out pimples, it also thickens the top layer of skin and contributes to the clogging of pores. This can result in even more breakouts, especially whiteheads, which typically form a week or two after sun exposure.

No, the only thing nutrition wise that has to do with your skin is water-it makes it better. But food really does not have an impact on how your skin looks.

I personally don't think it's cause of food.
I really think it's because of the stress you go through.
Or just the fact that your in that day and age where you go through puberty and grow up like that, They go away.
