They get arrested for one reason or another, and then at the police station they are found to be illegal and handed over to the feds.

It is extremely rare for an illegal immigrant to be deported or bothered by the government unless he/she gets arrested for some other reason.

Would that be the whopping 2 or 3 that ice consoles us with on occasion as if it is difficult to find them. In my area a walk down main street can net you hundreds,, and no I am not being judgmental , by the skin or language , I get to directly identify these folks with my job.
The bureaucracy in my area after ice does the right thing is absurd with advocates saying these people have their rights infringed upon. I say that we have been more than fair and now it is time for this hotel to close. Is that so wrong....

They get caught breaking other laws. Whether it be using someone elses SS# or any variety of other crimes. Unfortunatly they don't seem to get that part. The majority of what is reported in our police blotters is mob action, dealing drugs, driving drunk with no license etc, murder, spousal abuse, robbery, fleeing the scene of an accident where injury or death is present, gang violence.....is pretty much everyday reported and it's a sanctuary area. So it's has to be pretty blatent and severe because otherwise they do their best to "overlook" them.

Not that many get caught (that's why we have 12 million) so that takes out the "killing people and driving drung" argument.

I know for a fact that ICE looks the other way. Always thought why? Then I found out that they only do there job when the gov. Is looking like now, but before they would just drive around my city and scare people, but never do anything. Maybe ones a year.

One reason is that they know the fields would never get picked and the county would loose millions of dollars.

This is facts people, if you don't like it, ohh well.

crimes... i.e. fake ss #'s, falsifying employment records, failure to file taxes, speading and other wreckless driving & being caught w/no license, insurance, stealing, drugs.. you name it. Seems to me, showing up at these protest marches would be a great place to call the "main reason", now if only states like OK, and AZ will lead the rest of the state to follow suit. I agree w/ Chas.

They don't!! That's the problem. I was hit by a drunk driver and after he spent 1 day in jail he drove straight back across the border and I ended up being disabled for life. Only a tiny percent ever get caught.
