My wife is older than me by two months so that doesn’t matter much. What does matter is the aging process. Each of us can age at a different rate the younger can age faster than some that are older, so that doesn’t matter. Learn from each other and together as you get older, stay within range of each others intellect, compassion, dignity, share those things that are important to you with each other. Those important things can change with different stages of life. Be willing to evaluate and grasp change if necessary. Laugh together, love together and be a friend to each other. All else is but insignificant and will pass. My wife and I are both in our seventies its been a hell of a trip so far. So far so good.

what's the big deal? it's two years, just enjoy the relationship and quit worrying about things out of your control. If he were older would you then worry because he was older. 2 years is nothing, either he'll be right for you or he won't but i doubt very seriously that it will be because he's 2 yrs younger

Youre NOT that much older than him. That age difference is NOTHING to worry about him. If he isnt ready for the kind of relationship you want, either move on or wait for him to be ready. Is age has nothing to do with it. I know plenty of guys who are 21 that have been in long serious relationships. Either the guy is ready and wants to be committed to one person, or he wants to continue to date around.

if there are no problems nothing why create a problem

There are only four questions of value in life. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love.

Calm down. You are not "getting older". You're 23. And any way you slice it, 2 years apart doesn't make a big difference if "forever" is your goal.

Take a chill pill. Two years is nothing. Just have fun and don't worry so much about the future.

:) Enjoy it while it lasts.
Don't worry about age.

So you where 2 when he was born?
That is A LOT smaller than many others.
(My parents are 6 years apart, my uncle and his wife where.. 13 years apart? It's not a biggie.)

If this guy gives you butterflies, and visions of a fairytale life, stick with him.
