Nope. Its basically like the plague, once it gets you, there is no stopping it. I heard of many unsucessful attempts with hypnosis and cold turkey. You might as well just put it up there on the list past marijuana and cocaine.

There's worse addictions out there I'm sure :)
Maybe you can block the url except for an hour or so a day? Though, she'd likely just find something else to obsess about... just block her internet for a while until she 'breaks' the cycle - it won't be pleasant at your place in the meantime, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do!

Y!A addictions is not prevalant enough to have its own support group that I know of, but there are support groups out there for internet addictions in general - gaming specifically.
You could try googling that.
If she is young, set limits on her computer time. If she is older, try compromising with her.
No matter what age, if it's not *her* computer, you could always just revoke or reduce her computer priviliges.
Do keep in mind, though, there are a lot worse things she could be doing; and, she will get over it eventually.

LOL!!!!!!! Sorry....
It seem like it not a joke. Be the parent. Do what a REAL parent should do. Ask her~
~What other thing that interested you? e.g.
~What can you get out of life if you spend so much time on computer?
~Have you got any REAL friends?
Tell her you have to face the reality. Tell her a bit about the adult world. Job, future, money etc
please take care better of your own daughter. if she still young, tell her.... you can be anything you want when you grow up, dont waste that time! look at her grades, see what she good at. let start to plan future early. see what she want.
im not thinking stright, im very very tired. good night
