It is very difficult to win people to Christ with logic.
Pray for them. Ask God to manifest Himself to them as real. He knows how best to do that. He may even give you some ideas. Love.... Jesus came and demonstrated his love to us in that while we were yet sinners He died for us. Ask God to show you how to love them as He would love them. Love breaks through even the toughest barriers.

Blessings on you!

Well im not a die hard believer but... i do. I also believe in evolution... sorta in the middle. There really isnt a way to prove evolution. If the theory is true they would have to wait hundreds or thousands of years to notice a chance... although i recently read somewhere (physorg.com maybe) that they noticed certain animals had noticible changes in certian areas.
how can you prove god is real tho? i mean they're sorta both (at the moment) based on faith. Do you believe this or do you belive that... ya know....
But dont give in to them, its harder to believe something that you cant see than to believe something that can be proven.

A great number of Christians believe in both Evolution and Creationism. Parts of the bible are meant to be read metaphorically. If you don't believe me, then open your bible up to Genesis and read the TWO creation accounts. They contradict each other. At least one of the two must not be literal.

Many Christians choose to believe that both are not literal, that God chose to use the process of evolution to create Adam and Eve.

Evolution does not exclude Christianity. Christianity does not exclude Evolution. Science and Religion can work together.

You will find no "facts" that will disprove evolution. You will find, however, many bits of wishful thinking that purport to be scientific but are no more than flimsy straw men and half-baked grasps at preserving any shred of credence in the absolutely non-scientific and completely bogus ideas of creationism. For real facts, check http://www.talkorigins.org. Any creationist "fact" or ID "scientific evidence" will be debunked there.

FYI, There has never been a single creationist research article published in any peer-reviewed scientific journal anywhere in the world. Don't you think if there was any real evidence, it would have been published in some other venue that the popular press? Any scientist who could disprove any aspect of the ToE would win a Nobel Prize. Hasn't happened. Won't happen.

If we really came from monkeys, what kind of monkeys?, why there is no more monkeys evolving today?, why we can find a lot of fossils of different animals, but this do not occurred whit the so called half-monkey, half-man creature?, If we evolved from monkeys, why the human body "DO NOT ACCEPT A MONKEY BLOOD TRANSFUSION"?. Till today, there is no explanation(with real proves) on how a single thing like an eye can be possible evolved. Now, lately many t.v. shows, documentaries, scientist, archaeologist, etc. just discover that if we follow the DNA of the human beings; they end up with the fact that "all humans, came from an African(the first)woman;who they(By the way, named:"EVE,") said, was the ancestor of all of us. If monkeys blood is not compatible with humans and if "NOBODY" can explain the evolution of the eye itself, than there is no reason(at least for me) to believe in evolution. And just another thing, why there is no more half-monkeys, half-men, today? Because, when somebody said that somebody saw a big foot; they said:"There is no such thing"!,and at the same time they always say; "We still looking for the missing link." See, they don't make their mind; if you tell them that you just saw a half-man, half-monkey(Big foot) they do their best to prove that you are wrong; but at the same time they are looking for the same creature that somebody claimed to have an enconter whit!

It's nice to see so many non believers are quick to answer a question for believers only. The word evolution means to change to something different. Well I am over 50 years old and have seen a lot of species go extinct but not one single new species evolve. Yet people are becoming just as the Bible said they would in the last days.

It (Darwin's evolution) depends on advancement through mutation, yet virtually all mutations have negative consequences for the individual rather than positive.

Evolution WITHIN A SPECIES is a clear, measurable, demonstrable fact, but evolution CREATING A NEW SPECIES is NOT. True science backs change within species, like the rather famous moths in England which became darker over time, apparently because their environment was darkened by coal soot and darker moths had natural "camouflage" so predators ate fewer of them.

There are lots of cases where evolution by gradual change is impossible because the intermediate beings could not survive. Heart structure, cold or warm blood, gills/lungs... For hundreds of individual characteristics, there are no intermediate fossils because no intermediate being COULD live to reproduce.

The test of any theory is whether or not it provides answers to basic questions. Some well-meaning but misguided people think evolution is a reasonable theory to explain man’s questions about the universe. Evolution is not a good theory—it is just a pagan religion masquerading as science.

1. Where did the space for the universe come from?

2. Where did matter come from?

3. Where did the laws of the universe come from (gravity, inertia, etc.)?

4. How did matter get so perfectly organized?

5. Where did the energy come from to do all the organizing?

6. When, where, why, and how did life come from dead matter?

7. When, where, why, and how did life learn to reproduce itself?

8. With what did the first cell capable of sexual reproduction reproduce?

9. Why would any plant or animal want to reproduce more of its kind since this would only make more mouths to feed and decrease the chances of survival? (Does the individual have a drive to survive, or the species? How do you explain this?)

10. How can mutations (recombining of the genetic code) create any new, improved varieties? (Recombining English letters will never produce Chinese books.)

11. Is it possible that similarities in design between different animals prove a common Creator instead of a common ancestor?

12. Natural selection only works with the genetic information available and tends only to keep a species stable. How would you explain the increasing complexity in the genetic code that must have occurred if evolution were true?

13. When, where, why, and how did: a) Single-celled plants become multicelled? (Where are the two- and threecelled intermediates?) b) Single-celled animals evolve? c) Fish change to amphibians? d) Amphibians change to reptiles? e) Reptiles change to birds? (The lungs, bones, eyes, reproductive organs, heart, method of locomotion, body covering, etc., are all very different!) How did the intermediate forms live?

14. When, where, why, how, and from what did: a) Whales evolve? b) Sea horses evolve? c) Bats evolve? d) Eyes evolve? e) Ears evolve? f) Hair, skin, feathers, scales, nails, claws, etc., evolve?

15. Which evolved first (how, and how long, did it work without the others)? a) The digestive system, the food to be digested, the appetite, the ability to find and eat the food, the digestive juices, or the body’s resistance to its own digestive juice (stomach, intestines, etc.)? b) The drive to reproduce or the ability to reproduce? c) The lungs, the mucus lining to protect them, the throat, or the perfect mixture of gases to be breathed into the lungs? d) DNA or RNA to carry the DNA message to cell parts? e) The termite or the flagella in its intestines that actually digest the cellulose? f) The plants or the insects that live on and pollinate the plants? g) The bones, ligaments, tendons, blood supply, or muscles to move the bones? h) The nervous system, repair system, or hormone system? i) The immune system or the need for it?

Hi chelsea . . . how are you? I understand the position that you're in, for i have friends and family that believe the same stuff. I yearn for their salvation too. There are plenty of resources out there to help you out, so here is a couple for you. I hope it helps. The first addresses how to reach them with the gospel without needing to talk about evolution, and the second one will give you a strong foundation at the problems of evolution.

Remember that the Bible says that the mind is at war with God, (Romans - chapter 8) so we need to bypass the mind, and speak to the part of the person that gives us common ground. The conscience. For Christ died on the cross to save us from the death sentence of sin. The way of the master website will give you all the tools needed to effectively reach to not only those close to you, but strangers. God bless, and serve your King!

The entire respectable scientific community uses evolution as the theoretical paradigm for the science of biology. Please read your school biology textbook.

You can find websites that try to dispute evolutionary theory, just like you can find websites that dispute the Holocaust. It is an act of self deceit to give credence to such lies.
