if you are paying $60 dollars for a 2ct ring you better believe that ring is not real diamonds. If that's a buy it now price then that's what you'll pay with shipping.

You never know on EBay. I mean if your girlfriend cheated on you, you may just want to sell the ring and not care. It's not like you can reuse it or sell it for anything close to the money you paid.
I'd ask a lot of questions though. For example, does he have an appraisal? Is it GIA rated? All the stats. That stuff if difficult to make up if he didn't buy it from a reputable jeweler. Then when you get it, go to a jeweler and get it checked to make sure the stone matches the appraisal report.
It's a risk, but you can find good deals there. And a money back guarantee means he is probably legit. Only pay with Paypal.

I would be very careful. Its great that they have a money back gurantee but look further into it! Make sure that once you get the ring you can go have it appraised and if it isnt real you can return it. Good luck.

If you want it, go for it, make sure it's at least 14 k gold so your fingers don't turn green!
My man got my engagement ring off of craigs list for 150.00 and it was over 500, the girl wanted to get rid of it..however, it didn't come with a matching band and it would cost us over 700 to get a band made (cause its a weird shape)..
My fiance purchased me a ring set off of the internet, it's gorgeous 1 carat princess cut ABSOLUTE which is a cz but it's beautiful and thats all that matters is his love and that I like the ring. :)
Do what ever you like!

Sure! You can get great deals on Ebay.
But buyer beware... look for appraisal's or certificates of authenticity or something indicating that it is what they say it is.

I would worry about it not being real. My stone was passed to by mother in law to be. If you have 60$ to lose then you can try it out.

Purchasing something like that, just like marriage, is a high risk low reward thing.
