Man, TOO many to list.

I'll try to pick one or two good ones from each decade ...

Crazy Blues - mamie Smith - 1920 - First blues tune known to be recorded
Dark was the Night Cold Was the Ground - BLind Willie Johnson - 1927 .... this track was so haunting and emotional, they sent it into space in the 1970's on a probe containing earth's greatest music.
Baby Please Don't Go - Big Joe Williams - 1935 - a classic that keeps getting redone over all of the long years.
Cross Road Blues - Robert Johnson - 1936 - enough said
Going to Chicago - Count Basie - 1941
Call it Stormy Monday - T-bone Walker - 1947
How Many More Years - Howlin' Wolf - 1951 - you just gotta hear the groove on this one.
Boogie Chillun - John Lee Hooker - 1959 ... he had an earlier recording of this, but the 1959 one ROCKS
You Need Love - Muddy Water - 1962 - Led Zep could not have "written" 'whole lotta love' without this track
Voodoo Chile - Jimi hendrix - 1968 - the is blues of the brother from another planet.
Give me Back My Wig - Hound Dog Taylor - 1971
Blues After Hours - Pinetop Perkins - 1978
Boot Hill - Johnny Winter - 1984
Born in Lousianna - Gatemouth Brown - 1989
Chicken and Gravey and Biscuits - Lil Ed and the Imperials - 1990
Am I Wrong - Keb' Mo' - 1994
Enough is Enough - Coco Montoya - 1999
You Blew It Baby - John Lee Hooker Jr. - 2006

And finally, watch this 2-minute short that one ot the Y!A posters put together!

You've never truly been introduced to the blues until you watch
the "Blues Brothers" movie, with Dan Akroyd and John Belushi...(around 1984)........Check it out !!!
You should be able to get the soundtrack at Best Buy or similar retailer.
