why do people hate the idea we need to clean up the place??
because that admits we are doing something wrong by raping our planet and trashing it... it admits too much that people are ashamed of...
most people dont realize that by going green they can actually save money.. I think thats something we need to remind people about as well as just making a healthier environment for us to live and breath...
plus lets not forget the government has been telling people to SPEND SPEND CONSUME CONSUME for so long - people are brainwashed against any other ideas

So which global warming isn't real? Anthropogenic Global Warming or Natural Global Warming or that it supposedly isn't happening at all? People really need to learn how to ask their questions correctly.
Even though I'm skeptical about Global warming being caused by human activity, I'm not of the mindset that Oil and Coal are finite resources. Or that we have done enough to clean up the air we breath and the water we drink. I have said this many times. But since I don't believe in Anthropogenic Global Warming many people just give me thumbs down without even reading what I say.

I have no problem with that. I believe in recycling and forcing companies to use modern technology to keep our air and water clean. I believe in the country maintaining national parks to provide sanctuary for our animal resources.
It's just that I lived through this same thing back in the 1970's when it was global cooling. All the predictions like terrible hurricanes hasn't materialized and although global warming nuts claim last year was the hottest on record it actually only rated 13th since 1893. And someone who can't predict successfully tomorrows weather doesn't need to try to convince me he knows what is going to happen in 50 years.

worldwide warming is brought about by potential of the greenhouse influence that are the two brought about by potential of water vapour and CO2. The section we've greater of an influence on is CO2 (even although we do influence water vapour regionally by potential of changing the hydrological cycle globally that would not have lots of an influence on water vapour coming from the oceans). worldwide warming is a organic technique that we've sped up. definite its real, definite element of that's organic and definite element of that's synthetic. "of course not, right here in England this is nowhere close to as heat because it was some years in the past. additionally what's 'Globle'?" definite because of the fact all of us comprehend England is the centre of the worldwide and exhibits worldwide climate? flow seem up the version between climate and climate please.

People who are skeptical that humans cause global warming and skeptical that the only solution is to adopt socialism don't want dirty air or water any more than the so called environmentalists. Environmentalists just feel better about belong to a group and having a cause, whether it is real or imagined. We can take care of the environment without forking over science to a bunch of political hacks.

Good question. Of course we should still try to better the environment. It's not like it can fix itself. But I wish all we had to do is pretend like it's not there. It's enevitable that globle warming will happen even if we stopped everything that messes it up. We are already to far ahead in it and nobody really and truly cares any more.

well first of all i dont believe in Global warming. because back in the 40's my grandmother told me that they were fearing that the world would freeze over, so the earth just goes, from generally warmer, to colder. but overall we need to do stuff to stregthen out ozone layer, becuae that is allowing UV rays in and causing more skin cancer and everything. so another words we need to do stuff to get that ozone layer stronger, and last we need to create more fuel efficent vehicles. because we think that we have all of this oil, well at the rate that we are going to be out of it in no time. for instance here in idaho the next town over from me is making biofuel, by using corn oil. if we do that there will be less pollution, so in turn it will be better for the enviroment.

I agree.
I think people hate the idea because they're too lazy. They don't want to use the energy to walk. They're too lazy to find the nearest trash can and dispose their trash there. They're too lazy to even clean up their own houses, so how can they clean up the environment?
Now I feel like a hypocrite. I do walk places, and I do dispose my trash correctly, but I'm not trying to make a strike or anything. I'm not trying my hardest to change anything. I feel like a prat now.

Because the true cost of trying to reduce our emissions to where they were 20 years ago would be a massive depression, which itself would kill lots of people in various ways. Whether you believe we can reduce our emissions or not, the increase in emissions from China and India in the next 20 years will make anything we do insignificant.

even if global warming isnt real
currently there is 20% oxyegen in our atmosphere and has not changed for millions of years, if all of these trees get cut down than it will damage all living things.
also we are using the earth as our dump throwing wrappers on the floor because you cant throw it out.
