i wanted to know how are called (and, who knows, where to find) those HUGE pictures that kodak (i guess, maybe i'm wrong) used as ads in the period after the II war. it was a revolutionary technique.

The large outdoor posters you are referring to are briefly discussed in the year 1964 regarding the World's Fair.

At the 1964 New York World's Fair the Kodak pavilion was one of the ten largest buildings at that International Exposition. The "Tower of Photography," as it was called, featured the largest outdoor color prints ever exhibited. This is discussed, along with Kodak's connection to Disney, at The Kodak Konnection:

Additionally, the well-known photographer Ansel Adams, who had a long-time connection with Kodak made giant Coloramas for Eastman Kodak Company (which hung in Grand Central Station).

If memeory serves, Ansel Adams was responsible for many of those.
