Dont worry!!! the HO has records of your visa in their database. Just apply as normal and explain the situation. Another thing you can do also, is to attach the letter from the HO which confirms you have got the spouse visa - but to be honest, its not even necesarry. The most important thing is not to worry. Many people wash their passports in washing maschines, in the sea or swimming pools, and they travel with them damaged!

You have a passport that has been defaced and although there will be a record of your visa issue your passport is no longer acceptable if the page is missing. In this case you need a new passport from your Embassy.

You may need the old passport when you apply for Indefinite Leave so that the passport number can be checked and the new passport because there is no point putting the information in a passport that will not be acceptable when you travel.

Ring the enquiries line for BIA - 0870 606 7766 (national rate number).

Execute an affidavit that the visa page of the passport was torn by a child so that you will be granted another visa.
