i have quite alot of divx movies on my pc, i got an update from the ps3 that sony send me so it could play Divx movies, so i stuck on smokin aces and it played fine, i tried there with evan almighty but it comes up as unsupported data, how can i fix this, is there anyway of taking the divx codec out of the movie. There is something witht he ps3 that divx wont play about 3.1 or something i dont no what it is, but how do i check what my movie is running in?

DivX is a very versatile thing. It has a lot of encoding types. PS3 support a major ones. If you really want to play DivX movies from PS3 - download program from www.pspvideo9.com and encode almost any video into PS3's format. I plugged my PC into TV so I can watch DivX, XviD and other types of movies.

play it on the computer if its not running in divx change it to divx if u need help on doing that email me and ill help u out.
