Special tool. You can "borrow" it from your local parts store. Looks like a huge very flat wrech.

First thing you need to get you is a repair manual. You can get a Haynes manual at most auto parts dealers.
I always drop (remove) the radiator and grill. Just makes it easier to work is only reason, plus will usually core the radiator (take it to a radiator shop and have it thoroughly cleaned out) when have it off as well as changing the water pump at the same time. At same time I also change all the hoses, upper and lower radiator hoses and heater hoses, oil cooler hoses if it has an oil cooler (usually add one at first oil change if vehicle didn't come with one. I also change all belts as well. Also flush out engine and heater core.
Get it all done at once so don't have to worry about it. On personal vehicles only, "Not doing it for someone else."
Other way is to remove the water pump and get it on bench, then remove the fan and clutch.
Most parts houses sell the fans and clutches as a single unit so just got to parts house and get new one saves time and time is money when charging labor.

that has left hand threads. and you need a fan clutch removal tool.

tongue in cheek..TO THE RIGHT GET IT TIGHT. TO THE LEFT MAKE IT LOOSE on a fan clutch it's RIGHT, LOOSE LEFT , TIGHT

most are reverse thread( turn oppsite way to loosen)
