Some of you may have read or answered some of other questions this past week on precognitive dreams and how often they come for me. Well something I havn't mentioned before, or told anyone..is that the night before someone close to me or one of my family members dies.... I always ALWAYS dream of death. Now it doesn't have to be them, but I always see someone dying or getting killed. Just last night, my dads best friend died and this morning (after having a dream of a serial killer) all I remember thinking was.....who died? And 12 hours later, my dad got the news. Now....I dont want these visions anymore..I don't know if you can relinquish them but if I can, I sure as hell want to. Any suggestions/comments for me to clear my mind?

If its any help, I'm 18 years old. I have been having precognitive dreams since I was around 8 or 9. I have somewhat grown to accept it and deal with it, but I just get unbelievably depressed when I see something such as this or someone getting hurt, because I feel as though I could prevent it, even though I couldn't.

I don't know how old you are, but I started having the same problem at about the age of 14. I am female bye the way. Females at this age tend to be gifted with this. And , yes, it is a gift. They can be scary at first, but they will change as you accept and grow older. I laugh at it now because I tell people that I walk among the dead when I sleep. But the truth is, I have become more intuitive as a result of these dreams. Don't let anyone tell you that this is a bad thing! I had a mother who even sent me to the priest because of it!! Had the whole house blessed 5 or 6 times too!! The priests' answer to me? Gee, I don't know what to tell you but, if you ever dream about me, please let me know. I am much, much older now, I accept my God given gift. It has changed over the years, and now gives me insights to people, situations and events that I wouldn't have without it. For example. Had a dream about my grown daughter, sitting in a small living room, crying. Turns out she and her husband just lost their lovely home. She didn't want to tell me that. I knew!! You can actually help the people you love most when you allow your gift to grow.

I can totally sympathise with you. I used to see people dying before there would be a death. I used to be afraid to go to sleep for fear of what i might dream about. I don't know if you are a religious man, but I started to pray to God that these dreams would stop and eventually they did. I havent had any dreams like that in over a year now. It may have been coincidence but surely its worth a try. Good luck!!!

So you had a dream about a car crash that you were in and then a week later some other person who you didn't even know had one. Do you have any idea how many car crashes there are every week? This isn't even a coincidence, you are matching up two things that aren't related. No, you are not psychic you are seeing significance where there is absolutely none.

I would love to talk with you more about this, so please if you could, email me.
Anywho, you can't ever truly get rid of this gift, since it's a part of you. However, to keep them away, I recommend (and it works wonders for me) a cold bay leaf "tea".
Take a few dried bay leaves (you can get them at any supermarket in the spice aisle) and crush them into a small amount of cold water (about a shot glass worth).
Let it sit for about 15 minutes, then strain the leaves from the cold water. Drink the water. It should taste a little minty, and you should feel a slight tingle.
Keep your mind clear as you drink it, and when you are done, take 3 large deep breaths, in through your nose, out through your mouth. Do this before you go to sleep at night, and you should sleep clearly.
If your dreams bother you, however, leave a small glass of water under your bed, directly under where your pillow sits. In the morning, take whatever is left of the water, and whatever is in it, and dump it outside. If there is any kind of bug in it, burn the insect, and bury the cup. You should be clear of anything negative in your sleep.
Again, please email me if you get the chance.

I don't know what to tell you, most consider that a gift to be developed. I suppose you could try praying for it to be taken away from you, or something like that, or just try telling yourself when you go to sleep at night that any information in your dreams is for you and about you only, and not about anyone else... *shrug*............

I don't know that you can. Just understand that you've been given the ability to see things that others cannot and try to use it in a positive way.

Some people are just born with this gift/curse.
I don't know how to get rid of the visions...hopefully they don't come that often...but if I were you I would just pray to be freed of them.
Good luck to you.
