This very pretty girl I've been getting to know seems to think she's too fat and not as pretty as some of her friends. Now this girl is hot (in my opinion anyway) and she has guys trying to get her number and checking her out ALL THE TIME! So what's really going on here? Is she just fishing for compliments from me since she knows I'm interested in her or what? When I do compliment her she downplays it and says I'm just being nice. I don't get it.

Well.. straight up shes hot and she knows it thats for sure... al she wants is..."attention" and she knows she can get it from you either tell her its really annoying, and its getting old fast..or just leave he behind shes not worth your time..

Girls always do this to seek attention or in the past had people judge them which affected their behavior now. In other words making them insecure. Usually when a girl tells me to compliment her, I always bust their balls about it.
Do I look fat.
-Want me to lie?
Arent my shoes cute?!
-I've seen better
Many of the attractive women (they know they're attractive) that do this, give confident men like myself a S-h-i-t Test. In order to test if your surface is strong or not.(See if your confidence is all an act.)
Reframe it when she does this, and she wont be asking those questions anymore.

she may be fishin for compliments... everyone likes to be hear that stuff... or like most women... they see one part of them as a flaw and always think thats why people notice... she is probably insecure about herself... sometimes parents, friends, or ex boyfriends say something that makes them feel like this....
