Ceramic capacitors are non polarized and can go into a circuit without regard to polarity.

They can be installed in either direction. They do not have polarity.

Some older non-polarized paper, radial capacitors have a mark signifying the outer foil (immediately under the outer insulation). If there was an application where this capacitor was to be grounded on one side, it was always a safety precaution to put the outside foil to ground.

If there is any kind of polarity marking on your ceramic cap then you might heed the safety advice, above (especially for high voltage circuits, i.e. tube circuits).
