A $200 gift sounds pretty expensive for a fwb. It might be a little intimidating to her. Although... I guess it would depend what it is. Since you already thought about it and bought it you should just give it to her. No point in going through all that trouble for nothing. Just see what happens.

Friends with benefits do exchange gifts but I am not sure about how much they usually spend on each other. Since you said that she deserves it, then I say YEAH go on and give it to her. If you dn't get a gift as expensive as the one you bought her, then just go along with it. It's the thought that counts. GOOD LUCK AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I guess it really depends on the person and how much they did for you, Surely she will say " Oh no, i can't accept this.. you shouldn't have!" But she will be happy about it, anyways
I don't know much about the situation but that's a lot to spend on anyone in my opinion, if she doesn't accept it then play it cool and say that it's okay, you were unsure about it anyways. In my opinion if it's something nice like a ring or necklace, she'll be flattered, but she might feel bad if she got you something silly and little!

I would have not exchanged gifts.. She is not committed to you, and you are not committed to her. Your crazy for spending that much money on a friend. BTW how does she deserve it. Did she take care of your dying pet. Has she saved her life. If you treat her like a princess and your not going out.. shes going to walk all over you.

i see nothing wrong with what you are doing just because your fwb dont mean you cant get her something but the part that could get you is she will see how much you spent on that and think does he want me for more than a fwb?

sounds likes shes more than a fwb. Its a lot of money for just a friend!! As long as your buying it for her cause shes a friend than yes i guess. but if you have feelings for her. its not fair and could disrupte your agreement, she obvioulsy enjoys the fact there are no emotions involved. ,Make sure your giviing it for the right reasons. and dont expect anything back, she might not share your enthusiasm

it is perfectly fine to give someone a gift if you want them to have it. but don't give it with the expectation of getting something in return.
