It depends on how wide the table is, really.

I think the standard size that fits a 6 foot table with a little overhand is an 84 inch length. That will give 6 inches of overhang on each end.

If you want to have something that goes to the floor, your best bet is to get skirts for the tables, that hook on the edges, with the tablecloths stuck underneath.
