Ummm... because they are spiritual.
Or, because they answer questions relating to religion and spirituality.
Why do Christians assume no one can be spiritual unless they buy into the whole Jesus myth?

I know more about Christianity than many Christians. Maybe I'm here to educate.
As for the spell check, try a different web browser. Internet Explorer sometimes doesn't have it while Mozilla Firefox does. It's free to download and is a pretty good browser.

What room? According to Y/A guidelines atheists are allowed in any section that they want to answer in. I have explained the reasons why i frequent R&S more than other sections about 500 times. I am tired of explaining.

I believe it's because, they are in search of the proper argument which can satisfy their doubt. Atheists really do want to believe, they just don't know how. So they search and search, challenging everything and everyone they encounter. Their proclamations of disbelief are actually cries for help. They are trapped in a world of logic and reason.
Help them by ignoring them unless you have the answer they seek. They will use less energy and so will you.

Because people ask questions directed at atheists and it is in this section.
I had to download spell-check.

This is not a room. This is a CATEGORY on Yahoo! Answers. If I didn't come to this category, who would answer all the questions that Christians address to Atheists?

Atheism IS a religion. They just don't want to admit it.
I read your profile. If you want to be a pagan, that's your choice, and that's what makes us all spiritual....the power to choose.
Even the atheists have made their choice.
So, ironically, that makes them spiritual.

Because this is the place to discuss religion, silly. Where do you suggest we take our religion-themed questions? To the cooking section?
