2. German expansionism, resentment over treaty requirements of WW I,Japanese expansionism, desire to halt aggression by Japan and Germany, resentment against communists, Jews & those who resisted 3rd Reich.

3.Hiroshima was only a minor military target, but became ths scene of a brutal demonstration of the power wielded byAllies in hopes of concession by the Japanese power.Opinions may vary on this but at the time the Americans knew that they would not do so,so at that point another brutal demonstration was performed at Nagasaki.

Bombing Ausschwitz would have served no useful purpose except to hide the atrocities by the SS, eliminated witnessses.German forces were already overwhelmed presented no valid threat to Allied forces engaged in the area.

1. Development of advanced nuclear and jet technology. America became one of the dominant and now only superpwoer in the world.
3. Hiroshima was a major Army headquarters. The nukes forced the Japanese to surrender before we had to launch a bloody invasion where millions would have died. Bombing Auschwitz would have killed prisoners instead of the Nazis we would have been targeting.

I can't help with the others.
