Just Say that there was hard evidence that the bible was written by some guy that was bored and wanted people to believe in something and that there was a purpose for life.
How would you continue to live your life? Would yo still believe even though there is proof and evidence about the whole thing?

A world living in denial and a non-reality would be scary. Probably like the society in Children of Men.

If it were true that there never was a God, well personally, I'd feel a little foolish for having dedicated my life to something imaginary.
Some people would just die, their reason to live is no longer valid.
I'd follow the truth and adjust accordingly.

I think we'd see a serious spike in anti-depressant med sales for awhile. I do believe in Christianity - insisting that the bored guy was actually made bored by God so he would write the Bible and that was God's design.

People still believe that God created the Earth in 7 days, right? Even though it has been proven, many times, the we evolved from animals, and the Earth was not created by some supreme being, or whatever.

If that were the case - we could stop wasting time dictating to everyone how they should live their lives and how they should worship. we could *FINALLY* get on with saving humanity, which is currently on the road to self-extinction.
