well if ur are printing it like in a dark room I'm not sur, but if it's a digital photo go onto photoshop, make it all black and white, then click on the one thing you want to be in color and select the color slate and choose the color you want.

You will first have to duplicate the background layer (Copy of background). Then select the object/s you want to keep in colour, make a new layer (layer via copy) and then in the layers palette, click on the copy of background layer and desaturate it all thru the channel mixer. Once you are done with this, go back to your Selected layer and do Merge Down.
At the end you can flatten the image so it will all stay on the same layer.

this is not hard if you have the right kind of software... you can not do this with just any program. if you take it to a local photography shop im sure they can help you out

i did this picture of me myself
(with the rest black and white and my lips red)
but it took a million years because i used picasa2 and i did weird stuff.
