when im with my mate shes fine with me but if someone else comes out with us she starts like picking on me like making jokes or just like say well you wouldnt basically saying im slow or something..and shes done it with me and my mate when there was a group of us out and they stuck up for us..she dosnt say it in a nasty was just a jokey way but theres still no need for it..she dosnt do it if theres just me and her

She sounds very insecure about herself and is making you seem bad in company to make herself look better. Not very nice.

That isn't much of a friend. She is only your friend when it is convenient to her. She has the "queen-bee syndrome".
At some point, you need to evaluate each relationship and ask, "What does this person bring to the table?" Is this person a mooch? A user? A manipulator? A drama-queen? A time-waster? Or is this person your cheering section? Provide insight? Make you laugh?
As you go down the list of traits and how each thing makes you feel, you will know who you should be spending more time with.

I agree it sounds like she is very insecure - probably thinks shes not funny or interesting and makes fun of you to get a laugh and then "people like me!" and she feels accepted. It is very hard but try changing the subject to hint you're not impressed but absolute worse case, you're going to need to speak to her. Good luck! x

That's totally not cool. Your partner shouldn't be doing that to you. Tell her that makes you feel bad and that you're not going to take that kind of behavior from her. I think it's time for you to take a minute and reevaluate this relationship. You don't want to be with anyone who treats you like that. Best of luck to you!

your good enough to be with her when there's no one else, but when there are others, she's wanting all the attention and wanting you to look like a heel.

she is maybe scared of losing your friendship and is feeling insecure..have a quiet word and let her know its annoying you..i sometimes do this to my friend who is great and i dont mean anything by it,,she does it back and we just laugh...
