Illegal Immigrants Poem

I cross ocean,
poor and broke,
Take bus,

see employment folk.

Nice man treat me
good in there,
Say I need to
see welfare.

Welfare say,
"You come no more,
We send cash
right to your door."

Welfare checks,
they make you wealthy,
NHS it keep
you healthy!

By and by,
I got plenty money,
Thanks to you,
British dummy.

Write to friends
in motherland,
Tell them 'come
fast as you can.'

They come in turbans
and Ford trucks,
I buy big house
with welfare bucks

They come here,
we live together,
More welfare checks,
it gets better!

Fourteen families,
they moving in,
But neighbour's patience wearing thin.

Finally, white guy
moves away,
Now I buy his house,
and then I say,

"Find more aliens
for house to rent."
And in the yard
I put a tent.

Send for family
they just trash,
But they, too,
draw the welfare cash!

Everything is
very good,
And soon we
own the neighbourhood.

We have hobby
it's called breeding,
Welfare pay
for baby feeding.

Kids need dentist?
Wife need pills?
We get free!
We got no bills!

Britain crazy!
He pay all year,
To keep welfare
running here.

We think U.K.
darn good place!
Too darn good for
the white man race.

I live in Texas.
Welfare in Texas goes like this-
Are you poor? Get a job!
Still poor? Get another job!
Got 2 jobs & still poor? Get a third job!
Got 3 jobs & still poor? Then you suck! Get used to being poor or move to Minnesota, California or some other state with a better welfare program!
No body comes to Texas for a welfare check, they come here for work.
BTW, I've yet to meet anyone who can manage to hold down 2 or more jobs that ever stays poor for very long...

Where in the heck did you get this poem? Did you make this up?

Very clever----and very sad. True story of the welfare cycle. Although once you knew you're on your feet again, the recipient should get off the welfare wagon. Let your friend from the old country have a try at welfare, but you should get out from under the government help.

Very true. I received this in an email a few months ago. It's the poem that was circulated in parliament and when Tony Blair heard about it he was outraged. It was a big item in the news at the time.
Another example of how out of touch MP's are with the majority of the British public.

Would someone like to forward this to the Minister responsible for Welfare? Or just forward it to the whole of the U.K. Govt.,?

The UK Government love wasting our money and welcome all foreigners with open arms.

Seems as though it could be a US song nowadays as well. We pay and pay and get nothing but stomped on for all the good we have done, we have shared so much that we have nothing left to give.

I've heard it before - and more eloquently expressed, but, tragically, it's true in many cases. Britain is a soft touch for hard cases

Your right it's true, and it will stay that way in both the uk and the usa, until people get sick enough of all the waste and fraud.I'd tell you my solution but the mods would tank it.
