good, but in some areas/cultures its also used as a greeting, like saying hello... i think? but in my family, mixed of paraguayans, brazilians, portuguese, & spanish from spain, nobody uses it as a greeting.

It is spanish for 'good' or 'well'
Una nota buena 'a good grade'
Tu hablas español muy bueno. 'you speak spanish very well'
When you answer the phone in Spanish Speaking countries you say 'bueno' like we would say 'hello'
