You must use a PS1 Memory Card to save PS1 game saves.
You must use a PS2 Memory Card to save PS2 game saves.

Nope it don't work as their ain't enough memory on it to handle a ps2 game. But if it's a ps1 game your playing on your ps2 then yes you can the actual machine supports them

Yes you can use it on a ps2 but it wil only save ps1 games.

I tried this and could not get games to save at all apart from PS1 games.

yes u can but just buy a ps2 memory card it quite cheap
