depends on:

1) what you're studying &
2) where you live.

If you in the medical industry, law, IT, or accounting, or eduction then keep studying. you'll really need the degree to get to the top.

If you're just taking business, or communication, then get a great entry level job and go with that.

In some parts of the country Midwest, your education won't factor in too much to your ability to rise in an organization. The opposite seems to be true on the coasts and up north or in FL. However, in the middle of the country not much attention paid to education level acheived. Entry level experience and working your way up can be just as important.

Okay...so you're probably a student, right? well if you think you should work, fine, but you'll have plenty of time later in life. I really think you should focus in school now. Just like cutting school, it won't do you any good. Good grades will probably get you a great job that will earn you a lot of money. But if you decide to work now, then that's probably what you're going to do for the rest of you life. Getting the grades now a days is a competition. Depends on what school grade you're up to. If in high school, i suggest you go to school!

Why can you not do both?
I went to college full time and worked full time. Not only did I get experience for my resume but also got the degree.
Just becuz you do one, does not mean you cannot do the other. Even if you go to school or only work part time, you can do the other full time.
Do not limit yourself you will be surprise what you are capable of doing if you challenge yourself. And Doing school and work is a challenge.
