i don't really take " oh my god" as something bad. i believe its not good to say because it becomes a habit, but i just don't worry about not saying it.
what about you, whats your sinful habit?

people, i'm not stupid. i know God sees all sins the same. but none of us are perfect, and we all do these kind of things. just some may not seem that vital or horrible at that moment.

I don't know if this is exactly the answer to the question you have asked, but I'll tell you the sin I have the most trouble with and pretty much know I'll never overcome is sexual sin. (i.e. sex outside of marriage)
Also, I'll never ever consider divorce sinful because 1. I've been in an unhappy marriage and divorced and 2. life is too d@mn short to spend in an unhappy marriage just because somebody says it's a sin to split up and/or look for a partner that you CAN live happily with.

What IF
LEARNING FROM OUR SINS, AND
do not repeat them - but truly, with all our heart,
DO NOT EVER REPEAT THEM - would be a program of our Lord?
Isn't this some kind of "forgive yourself" - as God shall forgive you, as well as you are forgiving to the other ones?
Learn FORGIVENESS.
Learn LOVE.
Learn from all the sins/mistakes how to live a better life, in your Lord.
Just try to be better through all of those, above mentioned !?!
I think this is the most important part in life, and not the negative one, as long as you have learnt your lessons.
And I think HE will be happy for you, too.

Any word that takes God's name in vain. I seem to do it quite often but I ask for forgiveness most of the time right after.

Sin is sin in God's eyes. No sin is greater than another, I take them all seriously but that doesn't mean I dont commit them. I always ask for forgiveness :0) Merry Christmas!!

You are right. God sees all sins as bad, regardless what we humans put on them. A bad habit I have is cursing...

sry, but i think swearing is a sin. using Gods name in vain... how much that must hurt him... do you realize that every time you sin, your not only hurting yourself, but your hurting God even more. He loves you beyond belief. He doesn't want you to sin.

How people shouldn't be gay or bi... I can't help myself. I'm bi lol. But yeah I know what you mean about the whole "Oh my God." thing. Lately I've just been trying to catch myself in the middle of the word and change it to "oh my gosh." instead. ^_^

I smoke cigarettes. I know what it says about my body being a temple and all. It's not that I don't take it seriously, I just like cigarettes. They relax me, which is something I don't do much of these days.

take it all serious. We all fall short of the mark, but you should actively try to change it.
The Lord said not to take his name in vain....yet you are and dont care.
You cant pick and choose what you want to believe, he is who he is regardless of what you think.
Talk to him. Work on it. Ask him to forgive you....he will immediatly.
Like I said, we all fall short....my self included

If I consider something sinful, by definition I take it seriously. I struggle sometimes, but don't resign to sin. :-)
