I try to bath my 18month old daughter every 2nd day and wash her hair at the same time. I just wondered how often everyone else does this?

Every other day, unless they get really dirty playing outside in the dirt. I do wash their face and hands with a wet wash cloth before bed. Bathing them everyday seems to dry out their skin and make it itchy (even with lotion). My pediatrician even suggested not bathing them daily.

We wash every night before bed as it is part of our routine and my boys (aged 1 and 2) associate bath time with the end of the day. We can only wash my 2 year olds hair about once a week (or unless it gets very dirty) as he hates having water over his head and has a mental breakdown in the bath.

Even if they don't get very dirty I still like the idea of daily bathing as a way to keep them fresh and clean (especially with some pretty horrendous pooey nappies each day!). To stop their skin drying out too much (2 year old has eczema) I use an organic bath wash with no soap or soap products in it.

My 2 1/2 yr old gets a bath every other day in the winter because he gets dry skin just like I do. During the summer he usually gets a bath every night before bed cuz our afternoons are usually filled with playing outside in the sandbox or pool or something to wear he is filthy and needs one. He gets his hair washed every time he gets a bath.

I bathe my 21 month old every day because she plays hard with a 85 pound dog and she loves to play in the tub. We wash her hair every 4 to 5 days, or as infrequently as we can get away with. If we wash it any more often it gets very dry and breaks. I seriously lotion her up too to make up for the daily baths.

I give my daughter a bath every other day, unless we've been to the park and she's been playing in dirt or something. But normally it's just every other day and I do wash her hair the same time as baths.

I bathe my son every other day unless he gets really dirty during the day. I always wash his hair when I bathe him. In the summer I have to bathe him more because he sweats more. I always wash his hands and face, and brush his teeth before bed every night.

My daughter washes every 2 to 3 days. When its cold and snowing outside she doesn't get dirty like she does in the summer. In the summer its everyday to every other day.

I dont bath my daughter everyday either, your not supposed to because it washes all the good oils away that protect there skin. So i think every other day is good.

some weeks it may in basic terms be two times and a few weeks its usual because of the fact he's bored and its too icky to pass outdoors *lol*. No of direction if we've spaghetti for lunch it quite is an entire different tale. attempt dissolving some baking soda contained in the bathtub to help with the dry dermis.
