Ok, I'm really atheist, I admit, but what is with the *drink* thing? I've determined it has something to do with when someone of the fundamentalist persuasion says something silly, but what's the significance behind the drinking? It's pervasive.

It's not that the questions are sillt, or you'd see *drink* more. It is a response to overasked questions. It is based on the college drinking game, "Hi, Bob." where students would watch the Bob Newhart Show and drink every time someone said, "Hi, Bob." The "drinking" questions are oft repeated (I've seen a few go five times in an hour).

It's just a joke that was started on here.
It's a "drinking game" where if someone posts a question that we've seen a million times before, (it started with the Pascal's Wager question) then you "take a drink". (Which basically means type "Drink!")
Sometimes people also "drink" if the question is really innane.

They seem to think it's funny but it shows immaturity, and about all they can turn to.
