Only if believing in waterfalls is going to be one too.
Belief in God is a choice not a disorder. Just like pedophilia is a disorder, not just a choice. Some folks think that pedophiles should be locked up, where I think they should be cured.
Alcoholism is a mental disorder because the folks choose to drink every time they do it. They might get a cure some day too!

I do not think believing that God exists should be considered a mental disorder. But thinking that you see God or that God talks to you and tells you to do things is a delusion, which is a symptom of several mental disorders.

Yes it is. It is self delusion. And delusion is a mental disorder. But we are all a little ''mental'' in some way.
I do not believe in this ''god gene'' though. I am an Atheist who was once very much a believer. So this god gene thing cannot apply to people like me.
I know a lot of xtians though who are very good people and very kind and generous. They are just delusional about a few things.

Definitely. It should be on top of the list as the most retarded mental disorder. :D
It's like I believe I'm going to get laid with Angelina Jolie or win the lottery. My compusive gambling behavior can be related to the belief that I will win one day. It's the same as, "God told me to flood the world. So I bombed the Hoover Dam as a imitation of the Great Flood from the bible. " LMAO.

Well considering only those that believe in God are having any children in this culture likely not. The question is will atheists be nearly extinct in 50 years? Demographics say yes. Self genocide doesn't demonstrate good mental health in my opinion. Survival of the fittest. Bye bye!
I think we already had the question five minutes ago.

Why sure. We are considered Jesus Freaks, Fundies, Bible Thumpers and the like. It's a disorder that we don't want to have cured. The unbeliever's disorder comes much later.
