Well my father works for the Salvation Army as an IT Manager and I sat in on one of his meetings. I was going to volunteer this year to do some bell ringings at a local Walmart. The rules were that I couldnt say God Bless you or Jesus is our Savior or "May the Christ be with you" something I brought up lol. But it seems like television also is trying to remove Christ from Christmas. Our children are really really starting to believe in Santa Claus they may hear the story of our saviour but all they are thinking about is all the toys santa "satan" is going to bring to erase the key thanksgiving out of it. I dont see one commercial saying Lets celebrate our Savior this Christmas all I see is save 25 percent on this and that!
If you remove Christ from Christmas you have MAS
all that means is your Missing A Savior
God Bless all of you who dont forget the true meaning of why we celebrate.

It is a Christmas commercial that means it is associated with JESUS CHRIST if those other holidays want a commercial they should put one up there is nothing wrong with someone celebrating Christmas for its true meaning those people that think that they should shun other peoples religions need to get over themseleves. I actually liked the Chrismahannaquanzika or however you spell it commercial but if you put something out there like Christmas and explode it into a large proportions those people shouldnt be "nice" to other religions. If they want there own commercials they should put them up. Like Merry Ramadan or whatever

I don't know, but the History Channel last night proved just what Christmas is, Pagan Holiday.
The History Channel, last night vindicated every word the Jehovah's Witnesses have said about Christmas being a Pagan Holiday.
How the Date was selected, the Tree, Ornaments for the tree, how Rome got into it, how it spread throughout the earth, how it became nothing but greed by business. History Channel is really telling you the Truth about Christmas, most certainly since Christmas is a Pagan Holiday, Jesus would not be involved in it.

You do realize that Christmas is NOT the only holiday that is celebrated this time of year don't you? Or do you think that it's the only one that matters. If that's the case...how very narrow minded of you.
No one is trying to take YOUR Christ out of YOUR Christmas.
1) I said IF, you must have missed that part.
2) I acknowledge that everyone believes something different than I do, therefore, NOT narrowminded.
3) You asked why you couldn't say those things and why the media doesn't say those things......because of the other holidays and beliefs. They have to remain impartial for all their viewers/readers.

Excuse me ! But Jesus is NOT the reason for the season! It is Tammuz! It is his birthday and not the birthday of Christ! Jesus was born on Passover! Passover happens between the end of March and the beginning of April. What we call 'Christ's mass' is in reality the mass of Tammuz! It was being celebrated for about 2000 years before the birth of Christ. Around the 1200 th century the catholic church took all of the pagan 'holy days' along with their 'holy' sites and their 'god's' and made the 'christian' by giving them 'christian' names. The birthday of Tammuz became the birthday of Christ, the god Apollo became Peter, etc.

christmas is a rebranding of a preexisting roman holiday, saturnalia, when christianity took over the roman empire. christ actually wasn't born around this time. it has more to do with the winter solstice. that's the real meaning of christmas, if you want to talk historical accuracy
so my question is:
"why is the christian trying to remove the true meaning of Saturnalia?"

Christ never really had anything to do with this holiday in the first place. It was around long before he supposedly was.

The only thing Christian about Christmas is the name. Everything, including celebrating the birth of a "cruficied savior born of a virgin (Mithra)" is pagan.
