I have a little brother that moved in with me after he graduated from High School. (We grew up in Nevada, I live in Texas) He decided that he wanted to live with me to go to college. When he got here he decided he was going to take a semester off of school and start in the winter. He moved back home in Sept., telling me that it was nothing that I did, he just couldn't handle being away from all of the family and his friends.

This week I decided to get a myspace page so that I could stay in touch with him easier. I was reading some of his posts, and he told all of his friends that he moved back home because I am and unreasonalble b****, and that I had told him he wouldn't have to pay a dime and then demanded he pay me 1000.00 a month to live in my house. I never told him it would be completely rent free, and I only asked him for 100 a month to help cover the cost of bills and groceries.

What I want to know is, should I say something to him about what he said about me?

Your brother?

Hell yeah.

Tell him he's a spoiled little brat with no concept of reality. You were trying to help him and he expected you to foot the bill. You're his sister, not his mommy.

Yes! He's being a total brat...you should NEVER disrespect your family to other people....tell your parents what he did...I would and then I would ask for him on the phone and have it out with him.

Sounds like he is trying to "save face" by blaming you for his failure to cut the mustard in another town.
Let it go.
Next time you talk to the parents, you might mention this... for a chuckle.
Don't allow him to move in again.

I think you need to discuss this with him. Clear the air and set the record straight.
