Did you have to jump through a lot of "hoops" to become licensed or ordained?
I know of a few in different denoms. that were rejected because of mere personality clashes, for instance. You can study, and work, but it's preferred you remain in the pew.

my husband takes a class at our church taught by our pastor. upon completion our church will ordain him.

So that is an easy fix. Just open your own church. Many have done it and are making millions. Why sit in a pew when you can live the good life?
