Have a Toshiba TV and it wont switch input modes so i cant watch the DVD player VCR or Playstation. I cant find any manual swich to change them either. Any HELP? HAve remotes but neither will change it, but do everything else for the TV

From your question it is unclear whether the remote does not have a button for the function you are looking for, or if the button is ineffective.
If it doesn't have a button, and it is the manufacturer's remote for the TV, I would be very surprised. The button might be labeled "Source" rather than "Input". Or you might have to access a "Menu" button to choose the input source from an On Screen Menu.
If the button is ineffective, it might be that your set does not recognize that other inputs are connected. Try powering on the input device first, and THEN powering on the TV. Some TVs (stupidly designed ones) only check the inputs on power up, and if there is no signal detected at the input, the TV assumes nothing is connected.

Get a universal remote control for the tv and see if that works.

There has to be a TV/VIDEO button to select source. also switching the TV to channel 1 works sometimes.
