Depends on a lot of factors. A cheap beer like Bud, Pabst or Miller lite can go for as little as $2 US to $4 US. A decent beer like Guinness, Sam Adams or Hoegaarden will go for $4 or $5 US. Good beers like something from Dogfish Head, Bell's, St Bernardus, can go for $6 to $9 US. Premium beers like a Rochforte 10 or a Chimay Red will start at $10.

Depends where you drink. In my local Carling costs £2.20 a pint and £2.50 for a bottle of Bud (works out at £5.00 a pint). Down the road aways its £2.50 a pint, but in Wetherspoons it's cheaper but the beer is always flat!!! I paid £3.50 for a bottle of Bud in Blackpool which works out at £7.00 a pint.Robbing Bastards!!!!! The beer is usually cheaper up North but the further South you go the dearer the beer gets.It automatically goes up as soon as you hit a city, and usually doubles in clubs..

Reasonable prices for fosters is 2.30 to 2.60 and for stella 2.60 to 2.90. Ale is cheaper as it is an old mans drink so john smiths is 2.10 to 2.40. We have a chain of pubs called wheatherspoons that are much cheaper than the others and they have the monday club when it is even cheaper. A large wine will set you back 3.65 to 4.10 or maybe more in a poncey bar.
Shots can vary from a quid on a special night, but for a double scotch will be about 4.50 with mixer. The further out of London you go, it will get a bit cheaper.
Good luck getting lashed in England!!

In the supermarket I got 660ml of Heineken export for 1.20. In a bar you are looking at 3 quid for a 330 ml bottle ,at least.
Beer is so expensive when you go out- thats why the UK govt are(have) creating/created a nation of stay at home alcoholics , the whole purpose of bars and clubs is to engage with your fellow citizens...............Beer should be free!
