I'm curious as to what he sounds like. And for those who say that God doesn't actually speak to them in a physical voice, but rather it's just a feeling of knowing what to do that overcomes them, how do you know that it's really God and not just your subconcious mind ?

LOL, isn't if odd that when the "voice of god" is portrayed on television, or in the movies, he always sounds like James Earl Jones?

Ah, with the intention to easily reject any declare you're making about having a communication with your self, until eventually you've a recording? What if someone suggested they could communicate with God, and many times established understanding of issues that shall we in uncomplicated words ensure after the very actuality yet might want to no longer assume? this may advise they were someway "speaking" with some source of innovations that shall we no longer clarify. which could no longer show the life of a God, even if it opens up the question in significant thoughts that do not require any recording of a communication.

When you hear someone talk to you, your physical ear picks up sonic vibrations that your brain interprets as words and phrases. However, there is something in your soul that "hears" what is being said, and "understands" the meaning. Two people could say they love you., a stranger, or your spouse. Both speak the same words, but your soul will interpret them completely differently.

When God speaks, He bypasses the physical and goes straight for the heart. We hear Him plainly, just without the sonic vibrations on the ear drum.

So how can we be sure it is the Lord? Because it will be confirmed with His Word, the Bible. God will always confirm that the voice is His through His Word and other means such as opened or closed doors.

I have recorded every single word God has said to me. They are stored in my heart and mind.

In Christianity, our relationship with God is a personal one, so it is very hard to describe. I tried to describe it here...

I have never heard God's voice audibly but i know people who have. They both said that HIS voice sounds like rushing water. He will speak to you if you listen.

Well, see it works like this...

"If you speak to god, it's prayer, If god speaks to you, then you are crazy" - Fox Mulder

Always loved that quote. I find it ironic that churches advocate prayer, but as soon as a church member claims god spoke to them, they are outcast by the church and labeled crazy.

Simple. Compare what I am being told, to what is in the Bible. If if agrees with what the Bible teaches, it's from God.

If not, it's from Satan.

No, I have never AUDIBLY heard God's voice.

When you listen to God (read the Bible diligently) then when you pray you hear the things you have read guiding you. God's spirit helps you remember the things you have read. But it won't happen for you because you are being sarcastic.

Never tried to record His voice because just as sheep, they KNOW their master's voice. Have you ever recorded your father's voice? If so, why? If not, why not?
