answer a question. This is not meant to be insulting, just the truth.
An atheist quotes the Bible to support something and "we are taking it out of context", but you quote the Bible (even though there is a contradictory other passage) and you are right. A question is asked that you have no idea for and all you can say is "God provides all", "All part of God's plan" or "Just God's will". If it truly is all part of God's plan or God's will and he knows all, then there is NO FREE WILL. Can you understand that at all?
And amazing that God provides all or God performs miracles, but yet he has never helped someone who has lost a limb, why is that? And please try to truthfully answer that, I know being truthful is hard or answering a question directly is hard for you.
It is amazing that you constantly state that Satan is full of lies and deceit, well it appears that since you can not answer a question at all, it is easy to observe who you are more like, and that would be Satan.

Rachel: You are blonde and please stop that as I am too and that is insulting to other blondes. Try changing your hair color to brown. The question is "CAN YOU EVER JUST ANSWER A QUESTION?" Not that hard to see, it is right there in front of you. But once again you prove a point.

Godless: Sorry, by the end I just got tired. Christians do that to me, it is taxing dealing with them, you know that. Just like dealing with kids wanting Santa Claus to be real, and no matter what you do it is very taxing.

Maurice H: OK, so let me put this is simple terms for you, it is like watching a rigged boxing match, the person who will lose, will lose and they have no other choice. So, even if God knows when and how you will die, then events leading up to that (your whole life) can not be altered. You can not fool God and do something else, since you must die at a particular place, time, way as he knows that. So every event leading up to that you must do, or else you could fool God and then it would not be "part of God's plan" and he would not be all knowing or powerful, since you had the power to fool God and avoid your death.

well you started off strong, got a little weak in your argument towards the end, but i'll still give you a b+
christians dont answer questions because they dont have the answers, they follow their religion blindly and without intellegent thought. They talk in circles, contradict themselves constantly, and do not believe in logic.

You'd have to show me where we are condradicting ourselves, but as for the second part of your rant:
You're misunderstanding what we mean by free will. You say because God knows all and therefore sees all that we have no free will in it. But just because we know what happens doesn't mean that person has no free will. I knew on June 15th I was going to have an operation, but I still had free will.
When we say God gave us free will, we are talking about the freedom to worship Him or not. It is our choice if we attend church and give ourselves freely over to Him. I've used this before and I'll use it again: If you have a birthday party and everyone there is forced to come, it's not any fun. But if everyone comes because they wanted to, well that makes it a whole lot better. God doesn't force anyone to come to Him, He wants us to, but as there are many atheists in the world I don't think He's forcing us. That's free will.
As for all the miracles and such that God provides, you mustn't think just because a person is missing a limb that it's what they need. I've met people who said because they lost something, they found God and one's faith is more important than one's body. And God does provide, but not with what you want but with what you do need. He provided me with the operations I needed to get better and it was a miracle that I didn't end up in traction for a year. It's a miracle that I healed two times faster than expected, it's a miracle that my fiancee found God and I could continue on.
What you want is magic tricks and huge spectacular healings and such, but God can work in quiet ways too and he has. You just need to look and you will find the most amazing things.
Look up the Shroud of Turin and see a miracle, look up the statues of Assisi that cry blood and tears that cannot be explained. See the Eucharist that has turned to flesh, see the Saints whose bodies are incorruptable and see the true miracles of God when you find your own faith.

A) On free will vs. determinationism.
There is a vast difference between KNOWING and DOING.
God knows, that's omniscience. And He knows because He is eternal wherein all is NOW. That He knows doesn't mean He DOES or CONTROLS. We do that with free will. Remember, we are in His image. Since that cannot possibly mean the flesh it MUST mean in the spirit. God has free will. He freely chooses His plan. To be in His image we too MUST have the human equivalent of free will and be able to freely choose our courses of action.
B) On miracles: God isn't into the medical profession except on a very limited basis. Basically He set up the Laws of Physics and then went "ZAP" and let 'er blow! He's still lettin' 'er blow. ALL of creation is in His image and therefore MUST have some form of free will. Limited by the nature of the specific creation but within those limits quite free to do its own schtick. God does NOT abrogate that freedom! Period!
C) The real lie that Satan has perpetrated is to make mankind question his existence and to think of him as some childish boogey-man useful for frightening small children into good behavior. Since Christ's sojourn on Earth, Satan has NO power that we do not first give to him. Imagine how THAT must smart!
D) If you really are interested in finding out more, moderate your tone. Then you'll get thoughtful answers (like this one) instead of smarmy wisecracks and attempted putdowns.
Hope this helped.

When you say, "being truthful is hard or answering a ? directly is hard for you", I assume you are talking about us Christians..
YOU have no clue as to what miracles God has performed. Do you do a poll on who or has not received a healing from God?
We do answer questions, is it possible you are unable to understand it?
I cannot believe you take a Christians answer and come to the conclusion it is not direct..
I truly think you are annoyed with 'us Christians' because you see we are content in our lives and do Gods work..
Try it sometime, it's a very fullfilling life..
I will be praying for you..

What makes you think that God does not perform miracles?
I know He does. I'm living proof.
In 1998 I underwent heart bypass surgery and certain medication that I was taking was washed out of my system. I survived that and went home.
Two days later a blood clot formed and went to my lung while they were treating it my whole system began to close down. The doctors told my family only a miracle could save me.
That miracle occurred - because here I am writing to you about His healing power 9 years later.

I actual have heard unconfirmed rumors that Abraham Lincoln did not have faith in God, regardless of his favourite use of Scripture in his speeches. i don't comprehend if Thomas Jefferson replaced into an atheist, as maximum human beings say he replaced right into a deist, a believer in a non-interventionist God. He actual wasn't a "guy of religion" pondering the Jefferson Bible, which omits all supernatural components of the Bible. As for Obama, i don't think of he's a Muslim or an Christian. He replaced into raised by potential of atheists and intensely actual stumbled on God while he entered the time-honored public sphere. that's positive by potential of me; I evaluate myself agnostic.

we do have free will it's just lined up with what Gods will is and that is why we will easily agree he is in control.QUERY?
why so harsh,it is easy to find fault with those in the process of growing more mature.the bible says the accuser of the brethren is Satan.remember Christians are in a process of change and learning much the same as a spiritual puberty.
try if you are able to be kind to them ,you aren't the only person attacking our beliefs nonstop.there is a reason.the bible says all of creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.so imagine when we are completed our growing in spirit,it's says also know ye not not that you shall Judge angels.

Yes I can answer a question, and you know what if I do not know an answer to a question then I just don't answer it. I never ever say that is God's plan or God's will, because that is a cop out.

Yes I can answer a question, see I just did...I don't answer a lot of atheists questions because they are almost always formed as a joke, or as an insult to me and my beliefs, or in such a condescending manner as to disgust me, or in a form where they may feel like they receive some kind of virtual high five. I often don't even look at the questions directed at Christians because I don't want to sort through the atheists that answer such questions as this to give such a "virtual" high five....

i dont even know why i am bothering to answer this...
The athiest simply points to a scripture and because he hasnt bothered to read the where, why, how, and who the verse is referring to DOES take it out of context. You make it sound like we give vauge answers, but ask me anything and ill tell you what the word (in context) says about it. Athiests give vauge answers to, sometimes we just dont have the rime to give a drawn out answer.
The free will thing... we all have a choices to choose good or bad in our daily lives. For example, you have a choice to follow God, you CHOOSE not to. And God knows that. whats not to understand?
God does perform miracles? Yes he does i have seen them. So just becasue you havent seen them doesnt mean others havent.
and yes, Satan is the father of lies. I dont see where you get that Christians are anything like that. if all you do is go based on "posts" for your info, you are confused. Who knows? i could be the kind, loving neightbor that you work with and dont even know it. Dont jugde things you dont know.
