Your license was accepted in lieu of bond. If you didn't wish to post your license, you could have requested to post a cash bond. It's too late now. The citations you received are now your drivers license. If you should get stopped again, you will have to go into the Police station to obtain either an I-bond, or cash bond. You will receive your license back after the court case has been finalized. Because of your age, it appears that you will probably be receiving a suspension. the fine on the violations will be up to the Judge. If your citations were marked Must Appear, then you have to go to court.

Your appropriate wager is to touch the courts and ask them those questions. they are people who will technique your value ticket and could understand each and all of the guidelines and regulation. you should additionally ask the courts in case you're allowed to take a utilising college type. this might forestall your coverage from going up and factors from being located on your license. basically confirm you get the courts permission in the previous doing so. in case you don’t the courts will reject your utilising college certificates. good success!

I'd suggest you call the law enforcement agency that employed the officer that took your license. He could have forgotten to give it back to you OR there could be a law for drivers under 18 that requires the officer to take your license.

For a brand new driver to get two speeding tickets in less than a week...it sounds to me like there is a state law that enables the police to seize your drivers license.

If you choose not to go to court...I would think the State of Illinois cancels your license until you either pay the fines and reinstatement fees...or until you appear in court with your parents!

Walk until your 18. Unless I am mistaken, two speeding tickets within 6 months in Illinois for under 18 is loss of license until your 18.

Sorry no offense but you made your bed now you have to sleep in it. You should have thought about your license when you was speeding, now that you lost it you want it back. Why didn't you think about this when you decided to ignore the law.

you'll probably not get your license back until your 18--and you shouldn't.

Don't worry about it!!! All a drivers license is is a tool the government uses to control people lives and has no bearing on peoples ability to safely operate a motor vehicle..Drive anyway.. Don't fall for big brother's SCAMS....
