I "luv" big dogs that can't fit into purses. Dogs aren't ment to ride around in a purse all day, acting as a fashion accessory.

Good luck getting a German Shepherd into a purse!

I have three faves...Bernese Mountain Dogs, Swiss Mountain Dogs (very similar breeds, the biggest visible difference is the length of their coats), and Rhodesian Ridgebacks.

I personally prefer larger dogs (obviously), so I don't think I'd be able to keep any of these in my purse, but they're all great pets and excellent guard dogs!

Sadly, I don't have a yard that is appropriate for keeping a dog of any size, and I have cats inside, so it doesn't look like there will be a dog in my near future (but I love my cats, so I'm not too sad!).

My favorie dog is my squishy love bug, Louie. Well, okay, he's not very squishy or a bug at all, he's a rottweiler-pitbull and he's fantastic. I got him when he was about 5 weeks old from some guys that lived across the hall from me. He slept in my hoodie pocket until he was so big that the pockets started to rip off! He's four now and still makes me laugh at all the little silly things he does. For as long as I can remember, he's met me at the door when I get home from work- clenching one of his limbless, headless stuffed animals in his mouth. The exception was the other day when I came home and asked him "what did you bring me?" when I first saw him. You could tell the excitement of me being home was driving him crazy- he was running around in circles, nearly knocking himself over because his tail was wagging so hard. He walks over to me as I hold my hand- and to my amazement, sets down a small, warpped and ribboned present from under our Christmas tree.

I have had chinese pugs most of my life, they are very lovable and sweet. They are excellent with children also. You can definitely fit in a purse. You can get them in fawn shades or black.

My most favorite are St. Bernards! They are so sweet and caring.

I also like any giant breed.

And you can't go wrong with a mutt. They would be my 2nd fav!
