If you ask a question, don't get upset if people do not agree with you. Regardless of your thoughts of him being in love and he is the one forever. She is still 15. In most states that is RAPE and CHILD ABUSE. He is an adult and she is a CHILD. If you had any common sense you would not be dating a 23 year old man at age 15 as men at 23 may act like there 15 but it is still WRONG. If you were my daughter he would be behind bars.

It's technically illegal. However, if she was 18 and he was 26, it probably wouldn't be an issue. That said, they should not be having sex. I highly doubt she would be ready for a child. No birth control is 100% effective. Sex should be saved until you are ready for ALL the responsibilities that go with it. Also, if they are in love, then sex could (and should) wait until they're legal.

Legally, it's a crime of statutory rape if anything physical occurs.
Also, speaking as a psychotherapist, I have to ask what on earth do a 23-year-old man and 15-year-old girl developmentally have in common? What are HIS motivations in the relationship?

No matter how you look at it. Its wrong. She needs someone close to her age group. Think about it.
If it was you daughter, and she was going out with a 23yr old man. how would you feel?
Its called child molestation. she under age. And its a crime to have sex with a minor.
You may also consider, if she get s pregnant, how would her parents feel.
And how is she going ot care for the baby. If i was you, i would password on to someone. And let them know. a phone call. or Or the CDFS..
Ask your self this. If it was your daughter, would you let her?

no i dont think thats a problem because when i was 15 i would also date older guys. and that was never an issue. women always mature faster than guys so if you are 15 you really think like a 20 year old. so that is a perfect age diffrence/

There is no such thing as a mature 15 year old girl. No matter how he disguises it("we're in love"), he's taking advantage of a child.

My first reaction, is yes, it is wrong. But after I thought about it - I realized that if that was me, then I wouldn't want someone to judge my relationship. So if it works between the two of them, then great! Love doesn't discriminate ...
