John the Baptist was a human being in his mother's womb:
"At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea, where she entered Zechariah's home and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. In a loud voice she exclaimed: "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy..."

Conception, as has been given before.
But to give you a fuller answer....
This is from the Evangelical Christian point of view:
You see the moment a man and woman first make love, that moment the two are married. As the Bible says, the two have become one. The marriage is at that moment consecrated.
It is a hard line position to take and no sex is permitted before or outside of marriage. This is not condoned because all Christians have been called to live a pure and holy life before God in this and all matters.
This is based mainly on the teachings of St. Paul in particular but which is based on the Torah (Moses') laws as well. Christians are not to commit adultery for instance.
The result is abortion means to an Evangelical Christian who follows this teaching, the same as murdering an individual.
Now the liberal Christians take a different point of view as in most things to Evangelicals. They agree with the modern premise that individuals should decide for themselves when they consider an abortion should take place providing it does not jepordise the health of the mother. Very late terminations are dangerous. Their argument is a person is only really alive once they come out of the womb.
The trouble is the liberals seem to change their mind as soon as the laws in a country change as well. For example they do not have an agreed set of weeks an abortion should be made legal. They seem to agree with or follow whatever the country they inhabit allows. So they cannot be pinned down to a definitive consistent point of view as they do not have one.

9 days.
The Bronze-Age allogorical Biblical texts teach that ' The life is in the Blood' , the fetus starts making Blood at day 9.
I am not sure why God would Kill a 10 day or 3 month old fetus via a mis-carriage , you'll have to ask him that yourself.

Science confirms that since a fetus is human and has the DNA of a human being, it is human at conception. A human fetus is not a "non-person" just because it is in the womb. It carries all the DNA code and genetic material it will have after it's born. Hope this helps.
Think of it another way... we were ALL once a fetus, so does that mean we were less than human?

Ps 139:14 shows conception and childbirth are the wonderful works of God.
Jeremiah 1:4 has God taking credit for child development in the womb.
The true christian believes human life begins at conception.

Conception.
Here's the main points of the "It's okay to kill the fetus!" argument:
1. Size: A fetus is too small to be considered human!
2. Level of Development: Something so undeveloped can't be called alive!
3. Environment: They're in a womb! They don't deserve to live!
4. Degree of Dependency: They can't live on their own! How alien!
1. Am I any more or less human than Shaq just because I'm shorter?
2. Am I any more or less human than a 60-year-old just because I'm less developed?
3. Is a child in an incubator in ICU any more or less human than a child in the womb simply because they are in a different environment?
4. Is a diabetic person who is insulin-dependent any more or less human than an unborn child simply because they rely on something?

Depends who you ask... for some it's at conception, for others it's at the 'quickening' which appears to be when the baby starts moving (supposedly when the soul is acquired).
Check out the link for an explanation of the historical/legal importance of the 'quickening', and how that's changed with modern technology.

The Bible says in the book of Jeremiah 1st chapter 5 verse that He knows you before you are formed in the womb. So the word fetus doesn't really say anything, just a made up word. But I would like to say that the Bible also teaches that God will forgive someone of abortion if the become a Born Again Christian and serve a make Jesus Lord of their Life. In order to become a Christian a person must confess to Jesus that they are a sinner and that they need forgiveness. When Christ comes into your life He washes every sin away you have ever did, anything, Jesus is very merciful and loving God, Jesus died on the Cross at Calvery to save us all, if we will accept His free offer of Grace. Will you accept His free offer? Are you willing to confess to Him that you are a sinner and you need a Saviour? If you are just pray this sinners prayer of faith believing in Jesus with all your heart and you will be saved and you can start a new life, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you made a decision for Christ or have any questions, Please send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

At the moment of conception. "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee.................." ( Jeremiah 1:5 ). Before you or I were in our mommy's womb, God knew us and His pan for our lives. Many unfortunately never see God's perfect will because they do not live according to His Word. And Psalm 139:13 reveals that God is creatively invoved in the development of human life. And in Exodus 21:22-23 we read how God views the abortion of an unborn infant as murder.

Ahem....I am not a Catholic, but I believe that the moment the sperm meets the egg and its fertilized, you have a person. I don't care what people out there say to try and justify abortion.
