Everything we do is influenced by outside influences we just respond to them.
We thrive and make decisions on just one implulse
Our impulse to CONTENT OUR OWN SPIRIT--the NECESSITY of contenting our own spirit and WINNING ITS APPROVAL.

When a man sacrifices his life to save a little child from a burning building, what do you call that?
When he does it, it is the law of HIS make. HE can't bear to see the child in that peril (a man of a different make COULD), and so he tries to save the child, and loses his life.
But he has got what he was after--HIS OWN APPROVAL.

I suppose the question I have in return is what is your ideal for human existance? How should it be and why?

It appears you are saying that people are basically self serving. True but only to an extent. Often people do give their lives for others and go out of their way to help others when it serves no benefit to themselves.

Allot of life is like that.

Some people choose to react to life based on their upbrining etc...

Others however spend time looking for other answers, and this breaks the mold of the human based machine theory.

Thank you for telling me exactly why I do things. It's nice to know that everyone is as totally selfish & self-centered as everyone else. That we can't think about anyone else besides our own self-gratification & approval. Thank you for that insight.

Bizarre logic - I don't agree with you at all. People are nothing like machines - if they were they wouldn't make mistakes.
