Only those who believe are saved from hell. A person must believe in this life that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose again, to be saved from hell. Those who don't believe, go to eternal hell.

Christ Jesus showed the Way; "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is Perfect," is a clue as to the standard taught by Jesus; "Let this Mind abide in you, which was also in Christ Jesus," is Saint Paul's demonstration of Son of Godness, which all are intended to realize.
You might find "Men in White Apparel" and "Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton, and "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, modern authors, very informative. Likewise, "The Great Divorce," C. S. Lewis, and "Testimony of Light," Helen Greaves.
Even trained clergy sometimes do not have as good an understanding of the actual process of salvation, as God would like. It involves more than a walk down the aisle and signing a card. "Being and keeping the living Word" permits soul-salvation, which is rising above the weight of sin which besets. Sincerely daily asking God to make you a better person, and nightly asking His protection, guidance, and instruction for your soul, while your body sleeps, helps significantly.
cordially,
j.

Jesus took all the sins of the world (past, present, and future) and paid the debt that we owed. But he didn't do that so we could continue to sin with impunity. His death on the cross saves no one, His LIFE in us is the hope of glory.
There is a process in place that no church, no priest, no preacher, or any other person or thing can change. It's the LOVE of God. And, He expresses His love toward us in all circumstances...whether we call it 'good' or 'evil'.
Your concept of 'heaven' and 'hell' seems to be the traditional
spoon-fed mish-mash at your local 501(c)3 church corporation (which in not the same as Jesus taught). Jesus came preaching the Kingdom of God on earth (not heaven).
The word "hell" in Hebrew and Greek (the two languages of the Bible) means the place of the dead or grave...not ever-burning torment. God only gives us two choices: 1) eternal life or 2) eternal death. Not eternal 'life' suffering forever and ever.
Does that mean the sinners get off easy? I don't think so. Their earthly life is wasted and their eternal life is in doubt. This subject is far to deep to discuss here. Read chapter 15 of the book, SonPlacing for more detail.

Yes, it is true that if you believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins you are saved, and will go to heaven. Yet this doesn't mean you can get away with anything. You should read your bible a lot if you want to stay strong in you faith and you should always respect your parents. Even I have trouble with that one! But a long as you pray and ask God for forgiveness and truely mean it, your sins will be erased! I know it is a hard concept to grasp that a murderer can be forgiven or a rapest could go to heaven, but it is not up to us, it is up to God and if they say they believe then they are forgiven in his eyes. Trust me, I would never forgive someone for murder or rape, but that's what makes us so different from God.

When Jesus died, he didn't save all mankind from going to hell. Those who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior will be saved. And it is true that you can do bad things and still go to Heaven. But you have to ask for forgiveness, and actually be sorry that you did it in the first place.

Yes you still go to heaven if you do committed murder, adultery, disobeying parents if you ask forgiveness of those sins. God paid a sin debt. Meaning he died for our sins. But the key is asking for forgiveness. But there is still hell for those that just won't except Christ.
Merry Christmas & Best Wishes

Jesus came to save us from sin yes. But when he died he didn't automatically save EVERYONE. The people already in hell are in hell for good. If you accept Christ as the one and only God, if you believe in him and ask him to forgive you from all sins and ask him to come into your life then you don't go to hell but you have to be sincere about it and yes if you've done all that stuff, if you've broken every law and commandment ever made but you still have God and have him in your life then yes you go to heaven God accepts EVERYONE but not everyone accepts HIM. Hope this helped.

Well... there's a bit more to that.
Yes, he gave us the oporitunity to say that he saved us. If we truly believe that he is the only way to heaven, then yes, we are saved from hell.
The comment about commiting adultry, murder, etc. > If you know it's wrong to do that, and you still call yourself a believer... that's just wrong. God says that he will forgive anyone for anything, but to just go and do that, and think you can just appoligize and have everything be hunky-dory, there's no honor in that.

He did, if you believe, the Bible says you must be Born Again to see the Kingdom of Heaven, John 3:3, Jesus paid the penalty for sin by dying on the cross, now all you have to do is accept it. Will you do that? It is a free gift of grace and mercy to all who will believe, The Bible says that sin is what separates us from God, that is why Jesus died on the Cross, He was a Perfect Sacrifice for our sins, no animal sacrifice could make us perfect because animals are not perfect. But Jesus was. Now in order to be Born Again or saved you must confess that you are a sinner and you need a Saviour, are you willing to do that? If you are you can be saved right now, just pray this sinners prayer of faith believing in Jesus with all your heart, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. Jesus will now send his Holy Spirit to come and live in your heart and guide you into all truth. If you made a decision for Christ or have any questions, Please send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

If you accepted Jesus as your Savior, you don't want to commit murder or disrespect your parents and so you do neither, but you have to accept Him as your Savior and ask His forgiveness for that to happen.
Have you done that ?
If you have then you will go to Heaven, - if not you will go to Hell.
