I'm 16 .my skin lost firmness and radiance after I used several acne treatments and moisturisers ( which claimed to give me healthier looking skin with less spots...)

I still have spots, but my skin is just sooo dry, flaky, pale and unfirm. I think my skin is prematurely aging!

yet, I don't want to use any more moisturisers or treatments because I don't trust them any more:(

I'm so annoyed about my skin and don't know what to do ..I'm only 16 and it's not fair that I have to go through this because of the facial creams I used
I used neutrogena , clearasil and boots botanics . they're all rubbish, worked for a few days then ruined my skin

:( :( :( :( PLZ help

First off let me say that I'm not so sure your skin is prematurely aging. The dryness and flaking you described might be from the acne treatments. If your skin is dry there will be no pimples. I used to use different treatments on my face when I was young like you, but found them to also dry my skin. I stopped using those harsh products and began using just soap and water, but mostly water no soap and no scrubbing. Buy a bar of Dove soap, my mother swore by it it was all she used on her skin and her skin was soft and blemish free. For the occasional zit put a dab of rubbing alcohol on it it will dry it up. And what ever you do don't pinch and squeeze at your face. Your fingers are the dirtiest part of your body keep them off your face and wash hands often. If none of these things work there is still help out there, Natures Cure is an oral acne treatment that my sister and daughter swear by as a treatment for very bad acne My daughter says that she never used the cream but took the pills and her acne was gone. Good luck to you.

Dont sweat it, you've over reacting by a ton. Those medicines work by drying the skin. So its not a surprise at all that after using them, your skin is dry! If you stop using them and apply some moisturizer, it will be back to normal. That being said, those products only have moderate levels of success with acne. If you have insurance, then I suggest you just go to a Dermatologist. They can help you with acne in a big way- way, way more effectively than over the counter products will. And they can help you get rid of it permanently, as opposed to the one-at-a-time approach of over the counters as well! Good luck

Whoa. you're no longer upfront getting previous hon. examine the equipment intently. something that incorporates "salicylic acid" will dry out your dermis. maximum zits remedies incorporate a % of salicylic acid in it and in case you utilize quite a few products on an identical time it quite is going to dry out your dermis and make it seem worse than till now. I used to have zits continuously (and that i'm 37!) i ultimately tried the bare Minerals makeup...and that i swear I easily have not had ONE breakout or spot on the grounds that i began out utilising this line of makeup and facial moisturizer. in case you're utilising "classic" makeup it somewhat is offered in a bottle, I fairly advise you attempt the bare Minerals. they actually have a moisturizer in case you % it, and likewise there is SPF in the makeup so your dermis is solar secure. i spotted a difference in my dermis in 2 days! i haven't used an zits product on the grounds that, they're all sitting in my drawer. you additionally can see a dermatologist for a extra fit dermis recurring. you're very youthful and should no longer % all of those products on your face!!! good luck!

You probably are over doing it. You are young enough that your skin will return to normal. It sounds like you need to use something for sensitive skin. Good luck.
